Burger of the Month Spotlight: Broadstone Bar & Kitchen’s “Stars & Stripes” Burger Brought July to Life

This past July, Broadstone Bar & Kitchen fired up the grills and raised the flavor flag with a patriotic tribute to summer: the “Stars and Stripes” burger. Crafted exclusively for the Fourth of July and available only through the month of July, this red, white, and blue-inspired masterpiece wasn’t just a meal — it was a celebration of Americana between two buns.

As part of Broadstone’s Burger of the Month program, the “Stars and Stripes” was more than just a limited-time special — it was a culinary homage to summer in New York City. Each bite delivered bold flavors designed to reflect the spirit of the season: juicy, flame-grilled beef, smoky bacon, melted cheddar, pickled red onions, and a tangy house-made BBQ aioli, all tucked into a buttery brioche bun and topped with a mini American flag for good measure. Some versions even featured a pop of blue cheese or spicy relish, giving it that playful nod to the red-white-and-blue theme.

The Burger of the Month series has become a signature feature at Broadstone, allowing the team to get creative, spotlight seasonal ingredients, and offer guests something new and buzzworthy each month. But the “Stars and Stripes” stood out as a crowd favorite — bringing locals and visitors together to toast to summer, good company, and classic American comfort food with a twist.
